In the reality series “the Apprentice”, Donald Trump knows how to hire a good apprentice. Well in his personal life, he also did a good job hiring women for the rest of his life: that is supermodel Melania Knauss. The two got married in a very luxurious wedding January 22nd, 2005 in Palm Beach Florida. Here’s the details
The Wedding Ceremony
The couple exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony at the Bethesda by the Sea Episcopal Church.
The church was decorated with gardenias and roses by event designer Preston Bailey. At each pew, garlands of dendrobium orchids spilled onto the floor. A soloist sang “Ave Maria” as the bride walked down the aisle. The vows were officiated by Reverend Ralph R. Warren Jr. and included a reading from the Bible by Donald’s daughter, Ivanka Trump. Before the conclusion of the ceremony, the couple lit the same unity candle that was used at the bride’s baptism. They planned to keep the candle for their future children.
Guests who attended includes Hillary Clinton, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Rudy Giuliani, Star Jones, Simon Cowell, Barbara Walters, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa.
The Wedding Gown
Melania wore a $100,000 Christian Dior white gown with more than 1,500 hand-stitched crystal rhinestones and pearls. The dress had a 13-foot train, a 16-foot veil and took more than 1,000 hours to make. In place of a bouquet, she carried rosary beads that were a family heirloom.
The Wedding Reception
Following the ceremony, the couple was transported in a black Mercedes Maybach, to an extravagant reception held at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate. Ten thousand flowers filled the 17,000-square foot ballroom. The reception was made to look like Versailles. Flowers included white roses, hydrangeas, gardenias and peonies.
As guests arrived at the reception, a violin quintet played classical music as more than 6,000 appetizers of caviar, lobster and truffles were served.
The First Dance
The couple shared their first dance to Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma,” before being seated for dinner in the Louis XIV-style ballroom. The main course was catered by Mar-a-Lago head chef Gary Gregson and included steamed shrimp salad, beef tenderloin, caviar, lobster rolls, Grand Marnier chocolate truffle cake and Cristal champagne.
At the end of the meal, the bride changed into a lightweight tulle Vera Wang gown so she could dance. Music was performed by the Michael Rose Orchestra and Billy Joel, who sang “Just the Way You Are.” In the middle of the song, he substituted funny lyrics about Trump to the tune of “The Lady Is a Tramp.” Following Joel’s performance, Paul Anka sang “My Way,” and Tony Bennett serenaded the couple with “Always.”
For dessert, pastry chef Cedric Barbaret spent two months creating a five-foot high, 200-pound, seven-tier Grand Marnier chiffon cake with nearly 3,000 icing roses.
The Wedding Night
At the end of the evening, Trump carried his bride over the threshold of their Mar-a-Lago suite, where they spent
their wedding night.

For those of you men who are clueless about being romantic, you should learn from these movie characters. Go on, for you wedding vow, maybe you can steal some of the quotes below
Don Juan DeMarco
-”There are only four questions of value in life. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made of? What is worth living for? What is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same. Only love.”
-”Have you never met a woman who inspires you to love? Until your every sense is filled with her? You inhale her. You taste her. You see your unborn children in her eyes and know that your heart has at last found a home. Your life begins with her, and without her it must surely end.”
Ever After
* “A life without love is no life at all”
* Prince Henry:” And what happens if the person you’re supposed to be with never appears or she does, and you’re too distracted to notice?”
Leonardo da Vinci:”You learn to pay attention.”
* Danielle:”A bird may love a fish, signore, but where will they live?”
Leonardo da Vinci:”Then I shall have to make you wings.”
* Prince Henry:” You told me it was a matter of life or death.”
Leonardo da Vinci:”A woman always is.”
Notting Hill

Shakespeare In Love
* “I will have poetry in my life. And adventure. And love. Love above all. No…not the artful postures of love, not playful and poetical games of love for the amusement of an evening. but love that…overthrows life. Unbiddable, ungovernable, like a riot in the heart, and nothing to be done, come ruin or rapture.”
* “Love denied blights the soul we owe to God.”
* “If I could measure the beauty of her eyes, I was born to look into them and know myself.”
A Walk In The Clouds
* “Newlyweds. What else do they do but make love and war?”

You’ve Got Mail
* “I like to start my notes to you as if we’re already in the middle of a conversation. I pretend that we’re the oldest and dearest friends- as opposed to what we actually are- people who don’t know each other’s names and met in a chat room where we both claimed we’d never been before. What will NY152 say today, I wonder. I turn on my computer, I wait impatiently as it boots up. I go online, and my breath catches in my chest until I hear three little words: You’ve got mail. I hear nothing, not even a sound on the streets of New York, just the beat of my own heart. I have mail. From you.”
City of Angels
“I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it.”
“When they ask me what I liked best, I’ll say it was you.”

Celebrity Wedding Destinations: Prince Charles and Lady Di Wedding Details
Posted by admin | Filed under prince charles, princess diana, royal wedding
As a girl, most women dreams of meeting a prince charming and then get married with the prince to become a princess. Well, it looked like that Diana Spencer (Lady Di) fulfilled her dream, in 1981, she was married to the Prince of England: Prince Charles. Although Lady Di had passed away years ago, it does not hurt to go back and see that kind of wedding they had
Charles and Diana got married on July 29th 1981, their vows were recited within St.Paul’s Cathedral in London, England.
The Engagement Ring
The engagement ring was white gold engagement ring, dominated by an oval sapphire embraced by fourteen diamonds. Diana personally chose the gem, picking the largest stone on the display tray.
The Wedding Ceremony
:
The streets of London were alive with a profusion of Union Jacks waving in the mid-morning air as Lady Diana Spencer and her father began their journey from the Queen Mother’s residence, Clarence House, to the Sir Christopher Wren-designed St. Paul’s Cathedral — a venue chosen for the wedding by the groom, who found it more aesthetically pleasing than Westminster Abbey, where the most royal events are held. From a glass coach, the bride acknowleged the throng of admirers who had waited for days to catch a glimpse of the twenty-year-old woman who, it was believed, would one day reign over the land.
The Wedding Dress
About 750 million television viewers around the world breathlessly waited to see the ivory silk confection by British husband and wife designers David and Elizabeth Emanuel. The dress was enhanced by 10,000 pearls and mother-of-pearl sequins, the “meringue” style gown was a Victorian vision, complete with puffed sleeves and a twenty-five-foot-long train. Attention was paid to even the smallest of details of the bridal ensemble, from the dainty bow embellishing the neckline to the ruffled hearts and heels of hand-painted gold on the ivory silk slippers fashioned by Baboucha Shoes. Cascading bouquet was composed of yellow Mountbatten roses, gardenias, stephanotis, orchids, lily of the valley and freesia. To further tie the past with the present, accents of myrtle and veronica from Queen Victoria’s garden at Osborne House were interspersed among the array of blossoms.
The bride’s young assistants were a cherubic congregation, garbed in ballerina-length ivory silk taffeta dresses embellished with lace and a golden sash at the waist. The bridesmaid’s carried small baskets of flowers in a kaleidescope of colors which matched the wreath of blossoms resting upon their heads.
The Wedding Reception
The guests enjoyed a traditional royal wedding breakfast served on gold plates filled with brill in lobster sauce, chicken breasts garnished with lamb mousse, and strawberries with Cornish cream washed down with claret and port before the groom brandished his ceremonial sword to cut the first slice of a five-tiered wedding cake adorned with emblems from his Naval days, sugar doves, and topped with a garden of confectionary roses, lilies of the valley, fuchsias and orchids accenting an ornamental “C” and “D.”
Phew…what a royal wedding. Turns out that Lady Di was quite a Cinderella that day.
